Remember my fun red chair?

I finally got around to the table and in the process, came up with my

BEST IDEA EVER

Really. For reals. Best one. E.v.e.r

So the table is black and the chairs are red. And it sits on a picturesque 'Mayberry' porch. Any ideas?

I painted a checker board on the top of the table!

You are amazed, right? Right? Right? Anyone there?

----crickets chirping---

The little wood circles in the picture are yet-to-be-painted checker pieces. I love this table.  

I l.o.v.e. this table. 

It has been so fun to sit on the porch and play impromptu games of checkers. I feel pretty clever :)
